Ideathon 2.0 is a two months of virtual program designed to support youth to gain rapid insight into the global issues, address the injustices and receive intensive mentorship to support their project. The program intends to work with young people aged 13 to 25 years old from Nepal that includes a proposal development training, followed by mentorship with their preferred SDG mentors. At the final stage, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their idea in order to receive funding for their projects.

Still interested? Below are the eligibility criteria:

1. Must be between 13-25 years of age at the time of application.
2. Must be a resident of Nepal.
3. Committed to work on their project idea that is based on any Sustainable Development Goals. (Find more about the Sustainable Development goals here: https://sdgs.un.org/goals)
4. Committed to participate in a three-days online training on project management and proposal development and sign up for group mentorship calls.
5. Ability to demonstrate team work and perseverance to take their initiative forward.
6. Subject to pay NRS. 1000 as a registration fee. (Special Discounts of NRs.200 available to our partner organization participants)

If you have an idea to tackle any of the sustainable development goals in Asia or Oceania in general, or in your country or community in particular, JOIN US. 

This is an accelerated program over the course of two months where you will receive leadership and project design training, group mentoring and skill based workshops that are specific to your project idea. At the end of the program, you will be invited to pitch your project idea to access funding of USD250 or upto USD250. 

Application form details: 
The form will take 10-15 minutes (max) to fill out the information. There are altogether six sections (We promise you it doesn't take a lot of your time). Kindly go through each section and answer them carefully. 



Timeline details:

Deadline of the application: December 31, 11:59 PM NPT.
Training and workshops: Jan2/6/9, [2:45 pm - 5:45 pm NPT]
Mentoring session: Jan 12-31 [Subjected to different times/dates]
Idea Pitching session: February 5 [Time to be decided]
